MY REVIEW

In the third and final Newsmakers novel from Lis Wiehl, Erica Sparks and her investigating are once again at the center of political intrigue and danger—and fans of the series will surely enjoy the dramatic story. As she uncovers some interesting information about a large secessionist group in North Dakota, The Separatists takes Erica through a fast-paced series of twists and turns (with an expected dose of family conflict). It’s an exciting (albeit over-the-top sometimes) page-turner that follows The Newsmakers and The Candidate well. Over the course of these three books, I have enjoyed following Erica Sparks and her suspenseful and thrilling media experiences, which made The Separatists an easily interesting and enjoyable read.
